Community Activities:

Raymond Oleson volunteered for several years as President and on the Board of Directors of KARE Crisis Nursery, a local crisis center whose mission is to prevent child abuse. This non-profit organization deeply appreciated his expert legal advice. The center expanded during his term and continues to provide a great service to Nevada County for children and families in need.

Ray and Jane Oleson have two sons, both of whom graduated from their alma mater, Stanford University. Ray Oleson has vast experience as an insurance attorney.  Earlier in his career, he won several big cases for insurance companies.  In more recent times, he has been helping people by representing the plaintiff in cases against insurance companies, obtaining coverage and reimbursement for his clients in cases ranging from residential fire and property rights to personal injury and motor vehicle accidents. Mr. Oleson has also been serving his clients well in residential easement disputes. Mr. Oleson is AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell for 25 consecutive years. That is the highest rating bestowed on attorneys who have earned an exemplary reputation in the legal community. Sailing is by far Ray Oleson's favorite hobby.  He enjoys owning a Catalina 36 sailboat, and has spent time sailing from the northern waters off the coast of Canada and Washington, south to the warm waters and cultural adventures of Baja and the Mexican mainland.  He also enjoys playing tennis, international traveling and world cup soccer events.
